The first part of the menu is used to change your Kingdom’s settings.
The second part is used to change personal settings
Allow Alliance Password - this checkbox turns on or off the Alliance Password - when checked the commanders can logon to your Govern using the Alliance Password, without knowing your personal password. After checking (or unchecking) this option, you need to confirm your choice by pressing the ‘Confirm changes’ button.
Show Last Login - this checkbox turns on or off a headline in the Central menu, showing you the last login to your Kingdom (IP and time). This helps to protect your Govern and catch any potential cheaters. After checking (or unchecking) this option, you need to confirm your choice by pressing the ‘Confirm changes’ button.
Change Spellbook [number] to Spellbook [number] - this option is used when you wish to change your Spellbooks’ configuration. Type in the number of the Spellbook you wish to get rid off and the number of the Spellbook you wish to take and confirm. However, after changing the Spellbooks’ configuration you cannot use any Spellbooks for X turns (where X is the age of your Kingdom, but less than 40).
Change colour - allows you to set the colours in your mail and forum. The default settings are D7C85B for letters, 600000 for background of other Governs posts, 7B0602 for your posts’ background. The numbers are three numbers in the heksadecymacal system, ranging from 00 to FF, and define the saturation of red, green and blue, where 00 is the darkest colour and FF the brightest.
Change password - to change your personal password, you have to type in your present password, your new password, confirm your new password and click the “Confirm changes’ button. You cannot change the personal password using the Alliance password as the ‘present password’.
The ‘Load graphics from hard drive’ checkbox works only with the ‘Path on hard drive’ option. If you check this checkbox, the server sends the HTML code so that the graphics are loaded from your hard drive. If you do not check it, the graphics are loaded from the server. This option is suitable for slow connections due to lowering the amount of information loaded from the server. To use this option you must download the rd.zip file and extract it on your PC. (if you do not have a program to extract such files, download it from here : www.winzip.com or www.winace.com). Type in the path to the extracted file in the ‘Path on hard drive’ textbox. To load the graphics from your hard drive, you have to type in a path that your PC ‘understands’. Most graphics are saved in the RD catalogue on your hard drive, what fastens the game. If you are playing from more than one computer, one you have to create a catalogue with the game’s graphics on each. When extracting the Zip file with WinZip, make sure extracting with sub catalogues is turned on.
Language - from the list, select the desired language of the game’s interface.
Login to main multikingdom and Password to main multikingdom - this option is used, if, according to the Rules, you must register a multikingdom. If you do not have already a multikingdom registered, then you have to select one of your Kingdoms to be your main multikingdom and type in its login and password to these text boxes, to register a new multikingdom. If you have a multikingdom already registered and wish to add a new Kingdom, just type in the login and password of your main multikingdom and confirm.
Added text - After filling this text box, anyone viewing your Kingdom will see this text under the main info about your Govern. Best suited for any contact addresses (email, MSM, IRC, etc.)
At the bottom of the screen, you will find two buttons. One is used to confirm any changes, the other to check the IP addresses which logged into your Kingdom. This option shows the last 11 logons.
If you are an Emperor, you have an extra option to change the Alliance Password:
If you do not have an Alliance Password, a text appears : You have to add the Alliance Password. Old Password is: 0. If you do have an Alliance Password, a different text appears, as on the screen above. Beneath you will find 3 textboxes. The first one is used to type in the present Alliance Password, the second to type in the new Alliance Password and the last to confirm the new Password. The Password cannot be less than 5 signs long. After filling all the textboxes, confirm your decision.
